Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2024-25
The Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2024-25, an initiative by the Bharti Airtel Foundation, aims to provide merit-cum-means-based scholarships to deserving students enrolled in undergraduate and integrated courses in technology or engineering at the top 50 NIRF (Engineering) colleges across India. The program is designed to support students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds with a focus on girls, to help them become future technology leaders. Under this program, selected students will receive scholarships covering 100% of their college fees. The hostel and mess fees will be provided to those who apply for it.
About Bharti Airtel Foundation
Bharti Airtel Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, was established in the year 2000 with a vision ‘to help underprivileged children and youth of our country realize their potential.’ The Foundation works in the space of holistic quality education in rural India, with a special focus on the girl child. It also supports higher education programs in partnership with premier institutions. Eligibility:
For the Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2024-25, students should meet the following eligibility criteria:
* Confirmed admission or enrollment in the first year of the specified courses in fields of Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, and Emerging Technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, Machine Learning, Robotics) at the top 50 NIRF (Engineering) colleges (basis the latest list available).
* Must be a citizen and resident of India.
* Family annual income from all sources should not exceed INR 8.5 lakh.
* Applicants should not be recipients of any other scholarships or grants for the same purposes supported by the Bharti Airtel Foundation.
Documents
* Proof of identity (Aadhaar card)
* Current year admission proof (admission letter, demand letter of fee from the institution)
* Mark sheet of class 12th
* JEE scorecard or university entrance exam scorecard (whichever applicable)
* Fee structure, including hostel and tuition fee
* Income certificate issued by a government authority/copy of income tax returns of parents
* Affidavit confirming income if parents are self-employed
* Bank account details (account number, IFSC, branch address) and bank statement of the applicant and parent
* Bank account details of the institution (account name, account number, IFSC, branch address)
* Recent passport-sized photograph
* Documents related to extracurricular activities, achievements, part-time jobs, projects, innovations, etc.
* Expense receipts/rent agreement (if staying in PG/rented accommodation), if applicable
